Back to BCS.

Well, Maddie and I took a trip to surprise Matthew for Valentine's Day this weekend! The trip down there did not go so well...my truck decided to give out in Huntsville and had to be towed and fixed while Maddie and I sat in Firestone for like 4 hours waiting for it to be repaired. The whole time I just wanted to call Matt, but I wanted to keep the surprise so I stood my ground. The truck was back up and running that night and we got to Kountze Saturday night and surprised Matt Sunday morning for Valentine's when he got home (well to his temporary home). So we spent a couple of days together and Maddie and I are back to BCS and back home (well our temporary home as well...meaning I HOPE we are not here too much longer so we can be free from stress and drama!)

Maddie had so much fun with Mimi, Tyler, Zac, Popper (that's what she has decided to call Jim now), Paw Paw, Nana, Tricia, and Libby. She gets along so well with everyone, like she just fits in there! She is going to have so much fun and be so happy when we are close to them all the time. She is very lucky to have such great grandparents like them that treat her better than I am treated haha! ...Speaking of..Matt is getting spoiled rotten there! I told him he better regain his 'husband traits' before I come back for good haha.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Valentine's Day and actually thought about the holiday and what it means to LOVE someone. Luckily, Matt and I have found that kind of love and Maddie just completed intesified that love. It's really funny because when we met and started dating, I thought that he was the only sturdy person/thing in my life, but it turns out I am his sole sturdy rock. He is an amazong person and only deserves the best of everything. I am so happy that my family has welcomed him and consider him a son and treat him none the less. That's what family is about and I am proud to have such a great one! =)

So this week I will be doing a lot of packing and will stuff a little at a time as I go visit. The house is just sitting right now....just waiting for it to sell and Maddie and I will be gone for good! I am thinking I might take Ellie and Bella (the dogs) with me next visit so they can have some running room and see Matt for a while. If we have to stay in an apartment (which is what might happen) they will not be able to come with us and this makes me extremely sad! They will be happy at Mimi's house though!

Everyone have a great hump day tomorrow and bundle up for the cold tonight! =)

  1. That is what family is all about! I wish everyone knew that and you and Matt and Maddie aren't having to go through the crap you are going through. Wishing you a quick sale and a happy ending! Remember, just laugh it off and pray for them to be forgiven for what they think is 'the right thing to do', even though it is clearly terrible. We all get a laugh out of it...lol....you know it's sad..but hilarious! We should make a short story or movie script about it lol...it would be a great 'tragic drama' soap opera!

  2. ha! that's funny (about the soap opera). I agree, just pray for her to see what she is losing and to make good decision (on her own...not with the help of manipulating people)...PRAY! that's the only logical thing to do...not much else can get through to them it seems! I love you and tell Matt I love him too and he is a very strong person for dealing with this! He loves you so much and everyone can see that but the people that don't WANT to see it! thoughts and prayers coming ya'lls way!
